Work Update

In the past week I have been doing more editing

I have trimmed scenes to tidy up the opening of the film, and give it a better pace, specifically, in the moment where Peter opens the letter.

I found the original edit to be lacking in continuity, and to seem too fake, which takes from the verisimilitude of the film.

I will upload the newer edit soon.

Work Update

This week I have begun editing my film, (the results of which have been posted on my blog), and I have looked at the different shots which I need to re-shoot and discovered that there are other shots which I need to shoot still, to aid continuity in certain sequences.

Short Film - Ending 01

Although the Non-Diegetic soundtrack and sound effects haven't been added, this is the first visual edit of the ending sequence of my short film.

This is the first edit for the opening sequence of my short film, without the title sequences.

Second Shoot

Over the holiday I shot most of the scenes.
The only shots left to film are one or two shots which will be used to complete the match-cut-on action editing pattern.

I will view the footage when I return to college and decide whether any of the shots need reshooting, and hopefully begin editing as soon as possible.
