Today I finished what will hopefully be the last of my filming.
I shot several scenes from early on in the film, to add continuity, and fill in gaps to make the scenes more interesting, and I also shot the build up to the final scene, as I felt the shots I had already filmed (which will be posted) for the films end were not as effective as they could have been, so I have re-thought the ending to make it keep the feel of the film, and to be more interesting for the audiences.
Once I have edited them into the first final full version of my film, I will post this draft.
This version will include the reedited ending and beginning, in which the editing has a better pace and more impact on the audience.

Work Update
This week I have been planning how I can edit together the ending sequence of my film.
To do this I have looked at texts which have endings which portray similar emotions (i.e. guilt, sadness, regret,) and looked at how their stylistic elements (cinematography, sound, editing, mise en scene and performance) portray these feelings.
The film endings I have looked at are 'Silent Hill' (Christophe Gans, 2006) and 'Requiem For a Dream' (Darren Aronofsky, 2000) as the endings are particularly emotional, and also carry similar themes such as those mentioned, and silent hill as a distinct idea of two different worlds existing at once (shown in my film through Peter's reality in which he is dead, and Maria's reality in which she exists; her death now avenged thanks to Peter's downfall).
I will post my findings as soon as possible.
