Due to technical difficulties involving the tripod, I was unable to film the static shots for my film. I did, however, make the most of the location, equipment and actor availability and film the handheld flashback sequences.
These shots are to be used throughout the film to show what happened when Peter killed his wife, and small excerpts of him covering up for his crimes.
The scenes work well as handheld shots, because they will only be shown in short flashbacks, edited at a fast pace, so the handheld style will add to the fragmented nature of the shots, and connote Peter's mixed emotions, fear and confusion over what is happening through the course of the film.
